The 2026 Australia-China International Symposium on Multiphase Transportation, Conversion & Utilization of Energy (ACISM’26)

November 21-24, 2026

The University of Queensland, Australia

The Australia-China International Symposium on Multiphase Transportation, Conversion & Utilization of Energy (ACISM’26) will be held at the University of Queensland on 21-24 November 2026. This seminar will discuss the multiphase flows in transportation, conversion and utilization of energy including heat and mass transfer, combustion, chemical reactions, etc. Multiphase flow is the important and complicated phenomena in many scientific technologies and engineering applications which usually deal with two or more substances in different phases, states and mixture compositions in the system. It involves the material structure and the transmission characteristics of both matter and energy and therefore deeply relates to the basics of physics, chemistry and materials science.

The ACISM’26 aims to provide a high-level international forum for academia and researchers to discuss recent advances of the theoretical development and engineering application on multiphase flows, focusing on the phenomena of the multiphase flows encountered in various application fields such as effectively using fossil, renewable, hydrogen and nuclear energy, as well as improving the power engineering, the petrochemical industry, the environment and so on. By providing a shared forum for academic exchanges, the seminar will help build a bridge between basic research and industries, which plays a fundamental and indispensable role in energy science and technologies, contributing to the development of industry and human society.
